Data Implementation Specialist
LOCATION: Greenwood Village, CO or Pueblo, COREPORTS TO: Supervisor, Data Implementations
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for Implementing new customers in the Core application, upgrading existing customers to the core application, and special projects as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze, organize and prepare data for entry into Core application for new customers or existing customers who are upgrading to new platform.
• Utilize and manipulate electronic billing reports and media.
• Thoroughly understand the Core application to ensure that data is loaded in a manner that ensures contract compliance and smooth hand-off to OPS.
• Ability to capture customer specific details and instructions during the Implementation process to be documented for hand-off to the OPS team at go live.
• Work closely with the Project Manager assigned to each customer throughout the Implementation process.
• Properly represent Telwares to our customers and to their vendors in internal and external meetings and telephone contact as necessary
• Maintain behavior consistent with policies, procedures and ethics of Telwares.
• Enhance knowledge and stay abreast of telecommunication industry changes and how it affects customer transactions.
• Show ability to multi-task and meet defined deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong accounting knowledge.
• Telecommunication knowledge (Inventory)
• Strong customer relations skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Excel, Access, Outlook, Word
• Strong telephone skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning and organization skills; able to multi-task and prioritize work to ensure adherence to deadlines
• Strong analytical skills used for analyzing and interpreting data in preparation for entry into the system; detailed oriented
• Able to document issues, prioritize and follow-up
• Ability to read and follow directions and procedures
• Ability to quickly learn Core platform applications
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Education: Degree in Business, Telecom or equivalent work experience
• Experience in Data Maintenance (Inventory), IPS (Invoice Entry), Creation of AP Feeds are a plus
