Project Manager, Implementation
LOCATION: Greenwood Village, CO or Parsippany, NJJOB DESCRIPTION:
Oversee high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. The Project Manager will take projects from contract signature through final implementation using standard methodology. Focus is to provide on time delivery within budget guidelines. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including customers, end users, distributors, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Must effectively communicate with executive(s), Client Senior Management and other Management resources (internal and external) regarding the status of specific projects. Available to travel 20 percent.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize the existing methodology and toolsets to complete the clients project and meet Company standards for project quality and deliverables
Communicate through project status reports, outlines, conference calls etc. within committed due dates for services to be delivered on time
Identify Issues that may affect the project timeline for project completion in order to anticipate and establish appropriate delivery
Manage the issue resolution process and effectively communicate to all team members including management
Provide exceptional level of client satisfaction while meeting Companies budgetary and quality guidelines
Able to analyze root causes of project problems, determine corrective action plans
Reduce the likelihood of risks and issues through effective planning and communication
Foster teamwork across cross functional and cross organizational teams
Control deliverables through Quality Assurance. Achieve project success
Understand techniques to organize and prioritize project activities in the proper sequences
Client oriented, attentive and responsive to client concerns
Results oriented, identify, confront and overcome barriers to successful completion of a task or project
Persistent, refuses to give up when faced with opposition or difficulty
QUALIFICATIONS:
Business experience a must (telecom background preferred), Bachelors degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field: MBA/MS in one of these fields preferred.
Three to four years of Project Management experience installing in telecommunications and/or finance. A minimum of three years defining, improving and implementing business processes in a cross functional environment. Completed or in-process Project Management Professional designation preferred.
