Wireless Consultant - Audit
LOCATION: Parsippany, NJJOB DESCRIPTION:
The Wireless Audit Consultant reviews complex wireless telecommunications services through a systematic analysis of telecom invoices identifying overcharges, and presenting cost savings and optimization recommendations which will ultimately reduce future telecom expenses and maximize the clients return on their wireless communications investment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uses Audit methodology framework and tools to plan and deliver projects that meet client objectives and exceed client expectations. Contributes to improvement of methodology framework and tools.
Validation of voice and data wireless billing.
Submits billing disputes and changes to the vendors
Works directly with clients to present and justify optimization opportunities.
Works directly with vendor to implement changes in an accurate and timely manner. Escalates when appropriate with the vendor as well as the client when needed and warranted.
Verify that changes and billing disputes have been implemented correctly
Stays abreast of best practices and telecom industry trends in billing
Stays current with new telecom developments and competitive service offerings
Develops presentations and/or other project related documents as required to complete project objectives and activities.
Uses project management techniques and internal tools to plan and deliver projects on time and on budget.
May interact with various levels of clients organization and telecom vendors, and internal departments
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The following knowledge, experience, skills and nonphysical abilities are preferred for the Telecom Analyst position.
Associates degree in Business, Telecommunications, or related field.
Demonstrated achievement and over-achievement of revenue and/or goal attainment.
Thorough knowledge of voice and data wireless services and billing platforms, tariffs, contracts, etc.
Demonstrated business writing skills, including developing proposals, Statements of Work, status reports, pre-sales and project related presentations.
Demonstrated success in developing client relationships at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including experience facilitating group sessions.
Proven experience with PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word. Ability to learn new software quickly.
At least five (5) years experience with Telecommunications industry with relevant telecom contracts or telecom services.
