Mark Barbera - Board Member
Mr. Barbera has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry. For the last 17 years he was a principal owner with two registered broker dealers primarily focusing on private equity investing. During this time, he also ran Barbera & Associates, a financial and operational consulting firm serving the broker-dealer community. He has served in a number of capacities with private equity portfolio companies including Acting Chief Financial Officer and sitting on the Board of Directors for several clients. Mr. Barbera started in financial services with M.D. Sass Associates, a Registered Investment Advisor, ultimately serving as Vice President of Administration.Mr. Barbera began his professional career with the public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche where he was an auditor and received his license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. Mr. Barbera earned his BA degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo where he graduated Cum Laude.
