George Stewart, VP, Audit and Recovery Solutions

 With over 12 years in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Stewart leads one of the key growth areas of the business, the Audit practice. Supported by a team of 23 seasoned audit professionals, Mr. Stewart is responsible for maintaining relationships with client executives to ensure their audit needs are met. Prior to joining Vercuity, Mr. Stewart served as Vice President for Union Square Associates, where he was responsible for implementing TEM and physical inventory for blue chip clients of the consultancy, securing over $1M in annual and one-time savings for a single client.

Previously, Mr. Stewart served in a succession of leadership positions for ControlPoint Solutions (formerly Teldata Control). As AVP, he was responsible for serving the company’s top 25 clients. Mr. Stewart also held sales and management positions for telecom companies including Wireless America and Allnet.

Mr. Stewart holds a BA degree from Rutgers University, where he was awarded a full scholarship to play football. Mr. Stewart served as Team Captain for the Scarlet Knights, and was awarded the Douglas A. Smith Award and named Second Team, All-Academic.
