Carra Wallace, EVP, Business Process Transformation
Ms. Wallace is a senior executive with 18 years experience in management, operations, call center deployment, and rapid ramp up of new business initiatives in both Fortune 500 re-engineering as well as pre-and-post IPO telecommunications environments.Prior to joining Telwares, Ms. Wallace served as Executive Vice President of External Affairs at the NYC Leadership Academy, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's and Chancellor Joel I. Klein's centerpiece of the Children First public school reform effort. In this role, Ms. Wallace was responsible for building excellent relationships with business, government and community leaders that donated over $70 Million dollars to the Academy; creating national external recruiting and marketing strategies targeting transformational school leaders; and developing strategic university partnerships focused on transforming traditional approaches to leadership development for principals.
Before this, Ms. Wallace served as Vice President of Kintera, a start-up Application Service Provider that offers nonprofit organizations advanced web-based solutions to help raise organization awareness and secure funding via web based applications. Ms. Wallace's career also includes key positions as Vice President of Operations at Covad Communications, a Broadband Service Provider, and at US WEST Communications, Inc., a Regional Bell Operating Company. She also served as General Manager of Ameritech, managing the Regional Bell Operating Company's Operations Staff and Network Product Integration and Delivery organization.
